Nik, the Lord led me to your sight last night and I knew I was supposed to listen to your sermon. I was very blessed by it. Thank you for allowing the spirit to give you boldness in sharing the Gospel!
I was wondering if you have done very much studying on issue of video games? Just like pornography leads to a larger problem I believe video games has the same effect. I think you would really appreciate studying it. Thank you again!

I’m glad the Lord used this in your life! What a blessing!
I have done some studies on video games as they were a huge part of my life before I came to Christ. I was completely addicted to them and gave a lot of my time to them, so coming from that, I have been interested in the issue and studied it some. What I do know is this: the military uses video games like Call of Duty to train their soldiers to be willing to fire at human shaped targets. There is an element of desensitization. On top of that, the average age of the Halo online player is 40. I think video games are a big part of boys staying boys even until they’re thirty years old. We have too many boys who can shave and drive, and not enough men. Maybe I’ll do a post on it sometime.
Thank you, and I’m glad you were blessed!
